LAKE HAVASU CITY – In an effort to continue to provide safe and secure water services to the community, Lake Havasu City announces the scheduled improvements to the City’s back-up water supply. The City is closing a section of London Bridge Road between the intersections of Dover Avenue and Kirk Drive in all directions to allow for the pump testing of the new well at the water treatment plant. Intermittent closures are possible starting Thursday, March 18, through Friday, March 19, with full closure to begin on Saturday, March 20, at 6:00 a.m. and last through Sunday, March 21, opening at 6:00 a.m.

A detour will be in place and the public is requested to use caution and follow the detour signs when traveling near the construction area. Please plan alternate routes if possible.  As always, your patience in dealing with these traffic impacts is appreciated.

Dates and construction activities may vary depending on weather and other unknown factors.  For more information, please contact Lake Havasu City at (928) 854-0789.
