Lane restrictions on US 93 near State Route 97 set to continue through June

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead and allow for extra travel time because of long-term lane restrictions on US 93 near State Route 97 in Yavapai County.

Motorist should slow down and use caution around construction crews and equipment while these restrictions are in place through June:

  • Southbound US 93 will be narrowed to one lane only (right lane closed) between milepost 158 and milepost 160.
  • Speed limit reduced to 55 mph through the work zone.
  • A 12-foot vehicle-width restriction will be in place.

These restrictions are necessary while crews reconstruct the right lane of US 93.
