Lake Havasu City takes steps to promote social distancing

LAKE HAVASU CITY – To maximize the health and safety of our residents and to limit the congregation of large groups in accordance with CDC guidelines, the City applies the following measures to City services:

  • Tinnell Memorial Skatepark is closed.
  • Events and group activities continues to be restricted at park ramadas.
  • Basketball, bocce ball, horseshoe, and volleyball courts at all City parks are closed.
  • All open spaces, trails, walking paths, dog parks, pickleball courts and restrooms are open to public use during normal park hours with proper social distancing.

Residents and visitors are reminded to follow the guidelines of the Mohave County Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for social distancing. Additional park amenities may be closed, if deemed unsafe. Lake Havasu City Police Department is enforcing these restrictions. Anyone in violation is subject to civil sanctions, including a fine.
