Lake Havasu City Stand Down

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Veterans Resource Team is hosting a Stand Down event on Saturday, October 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center, 100 Park Ave. Many local veterans’ resource organizations are present to assist with legal aid, housing, resume guidance, employment opportunities and more.

This community-based intervention program is designed to help the veterans who are homeless combat life on the streets. The hand up philosophy of Stand Down is carried out through the work of volunteers and organizations who make this event possible.

Lake Havasu City Veterans Resource Team asks the public to spread the word regarding the event, so that local veterans can be reached and may benefit from the assistance provided at the event.

For more information, please contact the Veterans Resource Team at (626) 327-1077.
