Lake Havasu City opens Island Walking Path

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City proudly announces the opening of the newly enhanced Island Walking Path, Wednesday, May 29.

The Island Walking Path is a paved asphalt loop around the interior of the Island. It offers unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains and a good exercise track for walkers, joggers, and cyclists.

“The project is a vital source of recreation and connectivity for the benefit of Lake Havasu City residents and visitors, we are excited to be able to provide such an amenity to our citizens and provide an alternative way to enjoy the natural beauty of Lake Havasu City,” said Mayor Cal Sheehy.
