LAKE HAVASU CITY — Lake Havasu City proudly celebrated the graduation of 17 employees from Supervisor Excellence Academy (SEA) 3.0, completing an internal six-month leadership development program designed to prepare current and future supervisors.
Participants from departments across the organization met weekly to strengthen leadership, communication, strategic thinking, conflict resolution, employee development, and organizational effectiveness.
Supervisor Excellence Academy 3.0 marked an important milestone as the first class taught entirely by Lake Havasu City employees. Directors, managers, supervisors, and subject matter experts served as instructors and mentors, sharing their experience and providing participants with practical insight into leadership and municipal government.
“The Supervisor Excellence Academy reflects Lake Havasu City’s commitment to investing in our employees and developing leaders from within,” said City Manager Jess Knudson. “By sharing the expertise that already exists within our organization, we’re strengthening our workforce, encouraging collaboration across departments, and preparing employees to confidently lead the teams that serve our community.”
The graduation also recognized the many employees who served as instructors, mentors, and supporters of the program. Their commitment reflects Lake Havasu City’s culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Lake Havasu City congratulates the graduates of Supervisor Excellence Academy 3.0 and looks forward to the positive impact they will continue to make throughout the organization and the community they serve.
