Kingman’s I Love Route 66 Fest returns October 11, 12

KINGMAN – The Kingman Route 66 Fest returns October 11 and 12, beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 11, and 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 12. It closes each day at 9 p.m. Route 66 (Andy Devine Avenue) will have a hard closure between Fairgrounds Boulevard and Harrison Street starting on Friday, October 11 at 8 a.m. and will reopen on Sunday, October 13 at 12 a.m. A detour route will be in place to guide motorists around the closure.

The festival celebrates all things Route 66 from classic cars to road trip music and street art to food truck fare. The festival will be hosted at Lewis Kingman Park, a historic park located on Route 66, and will once again feature craft beers, food trucks, vendors, a mobile zipline, car show, and live music.

The festival is free to spectators and public parking is available in the adjacent lot at the corner of Route 66 and Fairgrounds Boulevard. Wristbands to take part in rides and activities will be available for $20 each day.
