Kingman man pleads guilty to sex offenses against teenager, faces decade in prison

Interior of courtroom

KINGMAN — A Kingman man faces one to two decades in prison for sex offenses involving a teenager. Brandon Register, 39, entered a plea agreement during a Jan. 15 hearing at the Mohave County Law and Justice Center.

Deputy Mohave County attorney Leah Nelson said Register engaged in a range of sexual activity with a 16-year-old girl from the fall of 2024 to the summer of 2025. She said investigators found nude videos of the victim in the defendant’s cell phone, evidence the girl complied with his request to send him the material.

Register is being convicted of two counts each of sexual conduct with a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor. He faces a 10-20 year prison term, followed by lifetime probation when sentenced by Superior Court Judge Megan McCoy.
