Kingman man charged in burglary

Entered home with woman and child at home

KINGMAN -On Monday morning, September 14, Kingman Police (KPD) arrested Moises Aguilar, 24, of Kingman, on felony charges of Burglary 1st Degree, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

According to a KPD press release, officers responded to a 911 call reporting that a man had climbed through a window of an apartment in the 3100 block of Harrison St. Officers arrived and discovered Aguilar in the apartment, lying on a bed. Aguilar was taken into custody without incident.

The resident of the apartment and her 14-year-old daughter did not know Aguilar. The investigation revealed that Aguilar had cut a screen and entered through an unlocked bedroom window. Witnesses had earlier observed Aguilar in the parking lot checking vehicle door handles. Aguilar was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and associated drug paraphernalia.
