KINGMAN – On Thursday, September 25, the Kingman Fire Department, in collaboration with Kingman Regional Medical Center/Hualapai Mountain Campus, CareFlight, AMR-River Medical, and surrounding partner agencies, will conduct a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) simulation exercise.
This large-scale training event is designed to enhance multi-agency communication, coordination, and efficiency during a mass casualty situation. The exercise will involve emergency responders, medical personnel, and support staff working together in a realistic training environment to strengthen preparedness in the event of an actual emergency.
To ensure safety and allow for uninterrupted training, the public is advised that sections of Santa Rosa Drive will be blocked with cones between 6:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on September 25. The road will remain open for driving use, but there will be increased emergency vehicle traffic and activity in the area throughout the exercise.
This simulation is critical to maintaining the highest level of readiness. By practicing in a controlled environment, participating agencies can ensure that if a real incident occurs, they are fully prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to protect the community.
The exercise is strictly a training event and poses no danger to the public. Normal emergency services throughout the city will remain fully operational during this time.
