Kingman accepting applications for Planning and Zoning Commission vacancy

City council

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman is now accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Planning and Zoning Commission. This appointment will serve a partial term through December 31, 2026, and applications are due by December 10, 2025. The Kingman City Council will appoint an applicant at its December 16 meeting.

The Planning and Zoning Commission provides recommendations to the City Council on matters related to land use, zoning, and community development. The Commission helps guide the city’s long-term growth through reviewing zoning ordinance amendments, conducting public hearings, and ensuring proposed developments align with Kingman’s General Plan.

The Commission meets the second Tuesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. Appointed members are expected to attend meetings and actively participate in discussions and decision-making.

This opportunity is ideal for residents who are passionate about Kingman’s future, urban planning, and sustainable growth, and who wish to contribute to shaping the community’s development in a meaningful way.

Applications may be submitted online at serve.cityofkingman.gov or by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at 928-753-8102.
