Karen Lou Czymbor

Karen Lou Czymbor (Scott), 79, of Golden Valley, Arizona, passed away on November 1, 2023 after a long and hard fight with dementia on November 1st 2023.

Karen was born on October 12, 1944 to Claude and Irene Scott in Saginaw, Michigan. After graduating from Arthur Hill High School, Karen married Joseph R. Czymbor on September 21, 1963. They had two daughters, AnnMarie and Patricia.

In 1990 Karen and Joseph moved to Kingman, AZ. Then finally built their forever home in Golden Valley, AZ. Karen worked as a phone operator for 10 years at River Palms (The River Lodge) casino in Laughlin, NV. Both retired from the casino they spent time traveling to many places, creating beautiful memories with friends and family.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Irene, her sisters, Kathryn Clause(Scott) and Pearl Rollins, brother Robert Scott and her beloved husband Joseph R. Czymbor.

She is survived by her daughters, AnnMarie Carlson and Patricia Sanford, her grandchildren, Danielle Johansen (Czymbor), Courtney Carlson, and Kevin Sanford, and her five great-grandchildren, Ethan Munson, Lacey Johansen, Kyler Czymbor, Baby Max and Baby Malcolm.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for anyone that would like to attend. “Rest in Peace”, you will be greatly missed, “We Love You.”
