Joanne Inez Bufano

Joanne Inez Bufano passed away in the evening of May 15, 2024 in her Sunridge Village home in Bullhead City, Az.  She was 88 years old and died of natural causes. 

Joanne was born to the parents of Louis Regalado and Martha Ramirez Regalado in Los Angeles County Hospital on February 13, 1936.

Joanne was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Carlos Bufano along with her their son, Robert James Bufano, father, Louis Regalado and mother, Martha Ramirez.

Raised in San Gabriel, California she attended Catholic school at Mission Santa Barbara and Alhambra California.

In the early 1950’s Joanne met the love of her life, Carlos Andrew Bufano.  Joanne and Carlos started their courtship while Carlos was serving in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1954.  In May of 1955 they married in Yuma, Arizona and began their life together as husband and wife in Southern California. 

They quickly started a family raising five children: four sons, one daughter. First born, William (Valerie) Bufano, Andrew (Sharon) Bufano, Robert Bufano, Anna (Patrick) Connell & Carlo (Tonya) Bufano. As the family grew, they eventually settled in West Covina, California, where all five children attended grade school and high school. 

In 1992, after Carlos’ retirement, they relocated to “Route 66”, in Kingman, Az., Where desert life seemed to grow on Joanne as they went on to live their golden years together welcoming their nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren until Carlos’ death in 2006.  Joanne enjoyed her love of Karaoke, singing Linda Ronstadt songs out loud and spending time with beloved family and friends.

She has gone Home to join her dear, sweet, kind, loving and devoted husband, Carlos …. her soulmate for a lifetime and now for all eternity. 

Joanne will be laid to rest on June 27, 2024 at 12 noon  at Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, Calif.

Rest in Peace, Mom and Dad and brother Bob, We love you.
