Jim Woods

It is with a heavy heart I write this obituary for my beloved husband, Jim Woods. He was a devoted spouse to Molly, father to Angela Stokes and grandfather to Jared and Dylan Stokes. Jim was a unique individual who loved life and took advantage of all it had to offer.

Jim grew up in Lebanon Oregon and was the oldest of five children. His siblings, Steve, Chris, Margee and Mary often discussed that they did not need to follow social media because they had a brother who know everything….were they ever lucky.

Jim attended both Willamette University and the University of Colorado with a two year stint in the army. He was a gifted athlete but left the championships to his brother Steve. He was an avid cook and enjoyed sharing his creations with friends and family. He also loved to travel and swam with penguins on the equator in the Galagoes, walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain, climbed the pass in Machu Pachuca as well as paddled in the Straits of Magellan.

For all who knew and loved Jim there will be a gathering on the 8th of November to celebrate his live and share our stories about him. It will be held at the Woods family home in Kingman, Az.
