It’s time for the back to school  “Clothes for Kids” Children’s Shopping Spree!

Dear Editor,

The AEA Social Welfare Program’s Children’s Shopping Spree will take place on Saturday, August 23, this year.

The committee is asking for your support, ELKS, to help purchase school clothes for children in need aged 8 years to 12 years, elementary school age. All Children of Elk families and Veteran families are being asked to participate. We are also asking our Elk members to be volunteer shoppers along with the children and their families at the Children’s Shopping Spree. The committee is expecting at least a dozen children to participate. The store of choice will be announced at the April committee meeting.

Your generous cash or check donations are accepted and appreciated and can be given to Lana Lethcoe, the Lodge Secretary, Suellen Stewart, Nani Chrimes, Joann Schoch, Tami Cash or Chrissy Gunther or in a box under the bar. Your charitable donation is tax deductible. Please make your personal or business check donation payable to the ELKS AEA SWP for the Children’s Shopping Spree. If you need further information, please see one of the CSS committee members. Let’s put a wide smile on a child’s face and school clothes on their little backs! Thanking you in advance,

Suellen Stewart
