International Day of Peace observation cancelled

Dear Editor,

Kingman’s traditional September 21 observance of the International Day of Peace is canceled this year due to COVID-19 and related safety concerns. Although there will not be meeting formally at the dog park as we had last year. However, at noon each person is encouraged to quietly to send positive and peaceful energy to our world reflect on world peace for at least a minute This silent gesture is being done worldwide at noon and thus peace will envelop the entire globe on the 21. Kingman’s theme this year was to be “Create Peace” thus your silent gesture is a creative way of validating this important event.

To find out more about this international event do an online search for “International Day of Peace.” Hope to see you next year and wishes are for you and yours to remain healthy and happy. Gentlest of wishes and always …. peace.
