Integrated health symposium is Sept. 7

BULLHEAD CITY – You are invited to join community leaders at the inaugural Integrated Health Symposium hosted by Mohave Community College Bullhead City Campus on Saturday, September 7. The goal of this free event is to understand the importance of addressing one’s physical health, mental health, and/or substance abuse disorders.    

The Symposium will feature a series of guest speakers presenting their stories.  Attendees will learn how our community is working towards a more encompassing approach to overcome stigma and work towards a healthier community. From law enforcement officials, medical providers, to government officials and addiction specialists, we will hear first-hand accounts of the trauma informed approach responders and providers are working to provide to the community. 

Please attend on September 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mohave Community College, Bullhead Campus, 3400 Highway 95, Building 600.  The free event open to the public will feature vendors and a light breakfast and lunch thanks to the event sponsors, Mohave Community College Bullhead City Campus, MAPPED (Mohave Area Partnership Promoting Educated Decisions), AZYP (AZ Youth Partnership), WestCare, Mohave County Department of Public Health, North Country Health Care, Terros Health and KNTR 106.3.
