KINGMAN, Ariz. – A Bullhead City man accused of a naked display before children next door offered an explanation at his July 13 sentencing hearing in Kingman. William Hamilton, 60, said he suffered a stroke once before and thought he was suffering another medical event on Feb. 7 when he was seen without clothes in the backyard of a property in the 900 block of Glen Drive.
Defense attorney Jovan Ruvalcaba said that Hamilton suffered from high blood pressure and rushed out of an RV because he was overheated during the medical episode. He said Hamilton’s self-exposure was accidental and not an act of deliberate display.
“I am mortified by the this and the stress that it’s caused,” Hamilton told Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle. “I am deeply remorseful.”
Hamilton pleaded guilty to a single count of indecent exposure. He was placed on probation for three years and credited with 14 days spent in custody with no further jail time ordered.
