I LOVE Lake Havasu announces 53rd Annual London Bridge Days parade

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Get ready for the London Bridge Days Parade, a cherished tradition in Lake Havasu City that fills the streets with excitement and community spirit! This vibrant event features lively marching bands from local schools and organizations, colorful community floats, and appearances by local celebrities. It also highlights the Kings and Queens of our community, crowned through various events and competitions throughout the year.

This long-standing tradition, a key highlight of London Bridge Days, encourages participants to creatively interpret an annual theme, with entries judged on their creativity and spirit. The parade kicks off at McCulloch and Acoma Blvd and makes its way to Capri Blvd, showcasing the city’s pride and festive atmosphere.

This year, I LOVE Lake Havasu, a passionate local not-for-profit organization, has taken the reins of the London Bridge Days Events, including the parade, with the exciting goal of breathing new life into one of Havasu’s most cherished traditions.

As the founder of I LOVE Lake Havasu, Shean Lawless, stated, “At I LOVE Lake Havasu, our mission is to enhance and celebrate the vibrant community of Lake Havasu City. We are dedicated to preserving our rich historical heritage, promoting diverse community events and gatherings, and supporting local projects that foster a sense of unity and pride. Through our efforts, we strive to create a thriving, connected, and resilient community for all residents and visitors.”

In addition to the parade, I LOVE Lake Havasu oversees the Annual Boat Parade of Lights in December and leads numerous other initiatives, including local competitions and community events such as the upcoming Havasu Kids Expo. The organization actively supports other local community groups through fundraising efforts and event assistance, making a significant impact throughout the region.

As I LOVE Lake Havasu’s tagline says, we are “Uniting Our Community, One Event at a Time,” celebrating the oasis that is Lake Havasu in all its glory. This Year’s Theme: Celebrating American Patriots! As the most patriotic city in America, we are thrilled to honor the great American patriots who helped form and lead our country to what it is today. Participants are encouraged to go all out with Red, White, and Blue and let the stars and stripes shine brightly along McCulloch Boulevard.

Each float will be assigned an American Patriot as their focal point and will receive their assignment upon registration. We appreciate your cooperation in making the London Bridge Days Parade a welcoming and enjoyable event for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and support in maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere. Join Us: To register your float or entry, please visit the London Bridge Days Parade website–entries are due by October 11. The parade will start at McCulloch and Acoma Blvd and will run down McCulloch to Capri Blvd. Please note that event dates and times are subject to change; contact the event coordinator to verify information.
