LAKE HAVASU CITY – The holiday events in Lake Havasu seem to be nonstop as spectators got a full dose of the Boat Parade of Lights a Glow over the weekend. The Boat Parade of Lights a Glow took place on Friday, December 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Havasu Riviera Marina.

The marina first opened in the spring of 2022 and has already embraced the community’s holiday spirit with open arms. The entry fee was $20 per person or free with an unwrapped toy donation.

This was a family fun event with vendors onsite like Jester’s Kettle Corn, Sweet Breeze Crepes, and hot cocoa provided by the Human Bean. There was also cookie decorating and writing letters to Santa Claus.

Some of Santa’s Reindeer were on display decorated in festive lights that shimmered over the lake. Boats were uniquely decorated showcasing the holiday cheer.

Famous characters of traditional holiday shows were the tops of some of the boats while others had Santa in front with a reindeer.  It was another joyous occasion for the community as the anticipation of Christmas day continues to be in the air.
