KINGMAN, Ariz. — The spirits of Kingman’s past will once again come to life this October as the Beale Street Theater Historical Ghost Walks return for another season of spooky stories, local history, live performances, and theatrical surprises throughout downtown Kingman. A beloved annual tradition, the Historical Ghost Walks invite guests to experience Kingman’s history from a different perspective. A tour guide will lead participants through downtown Kingman, where they will encounter actors and other performers who bring stories from the community’s ghostly past to life.

This year’s experience features two distinct routes, each offering its own collection of historic locations, haunting tales, and theatrical encounters.

Hotel Hauntings: History and Horrors Route

The Hotel Hauntings: History and Horrors route begins on the southwest corner of 4th Street and Beale Street and takes guests through downtown Kingman as they uncover stories of historic hotels, mysterious happenings, and lingering spirits. The tour begins in front of the KCA Gallery & Gift Shop and travels: Every Ghost Walk Ends with a Thriller Finale!

Because this is a theatrical ghost walk, guests should be prepared for loud noises, fog, and spooky stories that may not be suitable for very young children.

Whether you’re a longtime Kingman resident, a history enthusiast, a Route 66 traveler, or simply looking for a fun way to celebrate the Halloween season, the Beale Street Theater Historical Ghost Walks offer a unique opportunity to walk through downtown, hear the stories of those who came before, and experience a little of Kingman’s haunted history.
