HAVASU CITY – The City of Lake Havasu City is sponsoring a household hazardous waste event on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 8 a.m. to noon at the City Maintenance Yard, 900 London Bridge Rd. This is open to Lake Havasu residents only, and residents must bring ID with their city address or their most recent utility bill. Acceptable waste items are pain, automotive parts and fluids, other chemicals, fluorescent tubes, batteries, and e-waste. Not accepted are pesticides, poisons, corrosives, medical waster, pharmaceuticals, broken lights, and construction debris. For information call 928-505-7410.
