Hazardous waste collection day is Nov. 2

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Fire Department and Mohave County Environmental Quality are hosting a Free Residential Household Hazardous Waste event on Saturday, November 2, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place at the Motor Vehicle Division located at 1325 Alonas Way, Bullhead City.

All residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to remove unwanted hazardous items from your home, as this event is only offered twice yearly. Staff at the event will be offering convenient drive-through disposal so residents will not have to leave their vehicles. Items that will not be accepted are commercial waste, explosives, ammunition, appliances, commercial tires, industrial waste, radioactive waste electronics, furniture, documents for shredding, and any material from businesses or institutions. If you have questions, please call the Bullhead City Fire Department at 928-758-3971 or Mohave County Environmental Quality at 928-757-0903.
