LAKE HAVASU CITY – Authorities seized electronic devices and arrested a Lake Havasu City man as part of an ongoing investigation involving child pornography. Police said the investigation began months ago after an internet crimes task force reported detection of illegal image downloading.
Detectives executed a search warrant on Tuesday, Oct. 27 after pinpointing the residence in question in the 3100 block of Desert View Court. Sergeant Tom Gray said Daniel Weidner, 36, was arrested at a separate location in Lake Havasu.
Weidner was booked into jail for five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
