Havasu Council invites speakers to offer invocation at meetings

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Council invites volunteer speakers to offer an invocation before the beginning of the regular meetings in 2025 for the benefit and blessing of the City Council. Any individual or organization interested in offering an invocation at a City Council regular meeting can submit their names for participation through an application on the city’s website. The invocational speaker must be a resident of Lake Havasu City, having resided within Lake Havasu City for at least one year before December 2, 2024.

The Lake Havasu City Council meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, located at 92 Acoma Boulevard South.

If you are interested in assisting the City Council in this regard, please submit a Lake Havasu City Voluntary Invocation Speaker Application found on the City’s website at www.lhcaz.gov by the submission due date of 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 2. Submissions will only be accepted through the application available on the City’s website. Individuals whose names are drawn will be notified by the City Clerk’s Office of their meeting date to offer the invocation.
