Hana Dispensary Locations Now Open to Adult-Use Market

KINGMAN – Hana Meds, a vertically integrated cannabis company today announces the opening of adult-use sales to consumers 21 and over at its Green Valley and Kingman, Ariz. dispensary locations.

Last November, the passage of Prop 207 known as the Smart and Safe Arizona Act, legalized recreational cannabis in the state. The Arizona Department of Health Services started accepting dual license applications in January from current medical marijuana operators wanting to expand into the recreational market. Both Hana locations received approval and will continue to serve and offer priority entry for medical card holders.

Hana Meds was established in 2015 and is the parent company to two cultivation sites, two dispensaries, and cannabis brands, Revival Infused Edibles and Dutchie.

The Hana dispensary in Kingman is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. The Green Valley location is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., only a 20-minute drive from Tucson. Both dispensaries will still be honoring their Dispensary Agent, Veteran, and Senior discounts with the adult-use change.

There are three dedicated lines when customers arrive at both the Kingman and Green Valley locations: one for medical card holders, one for adult-use customers, and an express line for online orders made through Leafly. Customers are required to wear masks and temperatures are checked before entering. Adult-use customers will need to bring a valid Arizona ID to purchase the product.

For new adult-use customers, Hana Dispensaries has an array of house products for a variety of ailments. Recently, the company partnered with music legend Willie Nelson’s brand Willie’s Reserve to bring three strains of its “High-Five” packs to the Arizona market. Hana Dispensaries are currently carrying the Willie’s Reserve pre-rolls along with its new Revival Infused Edibles line of gummies, lollipops, chocolate bars, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies. Four additional Dutchie concentrate strains, plus Dutchie pre-roll packs are also available.

“We have already heard a lot of feedback from customers who were relieved they now have legal access to purchase cannabis products for their health and wellness. We also were happy to see that the 16 percent excise tax on the sales included in the proposition will fund community colleges, infrastructure, public safety, and public health programs,” said Matt Pinchera, CEO of Hana Meds.

The awarding of the dual licenses comes after Arizona voters voted “yes” on Proposition 207, the Smart and Safe Arizona Act. This voter initiative allows adults 21 years of age or older to use, possess, or transfer up to one ounce of marijuana and cultivate for personal use not more than six marijuana plants at a primary residence. It bans smoking marijuana in public places and open spaces. Prop 207 also allows the retail sale of marijuana at licensed establishments, and authorizes state and local regulation of the sale and production of marijuana by a capped number of licensees.
