KINGMAN – Guardian Kool has been working hard in Kingman to help first responders. For each one of their products sold, they donate one to a first responder.

The sell quality water bottles so that they can provide a cool drink for the scorching hot days or a warm drink during the cold winter months when first responders are out doing their jobs in the harshest of elements.

They recently started a “Bottle of Trust” Merchants adhere their stickers on a box at their business in hopes to raise money for the Mohave County Search and Rescue. “We realize how much they do for the communities and operate on donations and self-funding so we wanted to give back to them knowing it is all volunteer based and the equipment needed to conduct these rescues is often very expensive. These volunteers put their lives on the line to help others from rope rescues to swift water rescues and beyond. We knew it was a risk but we were willing to take it. Everyone passed around a Guardian Kool water bottle through several businesses in Kingman and put cash into it. We included a picture of the instructions that were inside the bottle. Anything that was collected we promised to match up to $500. We were able to collect $221 from local businesses and we matched it to equal $442 which is the amount we presented to the Mohave County Search and Rescue. We are honored to be able to donate back to those who put their own lives on the line and donate their time to rescue and keep people safe,” said Guardian Kool spokesperson Valerie Timm.

The following Kingman companies donated to the bottle of trust:
