Golden Valley man sought in connection with homicide

GOLDEN VALLEY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) has issued a warrant for the arrest of a man wanted in connection with a Friday homicide in Golden Valley. Kenneth Carter, 36, Golden Valley is charged with first degree murder in the warrant.

MCSO spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said dispatch was notified at 12:43 a.m. that a man had been shot in the 3800 block of Diabase Dr. “Deputies arrived on scene and located the deceased victim, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin,” Mortensen said.

Mortensen said detectives are also seeking the suspects father, Kenneth Carter, 58, Golden Valley, for questioning.
