Get ready for hunting seasons with a free AZGFD portal account

Account holders enjoy benefits like “PointGuard”

to protect bonus points

As the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) prepares to open the 2020 spring draw for turkey, javelina, bison and bear, hunters are encouraged to create a free AZGFD portal account.

A portal account gives customers the flexibility and security to manage and view their license history, draw applications and bonus points in their personal “My AZGFD Dashboard” section. It’s also a mobile-friendly, convenient way to access the online license purchase and hunt draw application systems.

Other benefits:

  • PointGuard. This is an inexpensive option that ensures if a successful applicant is unable to participate in a hunt, the accumulated bonus points that were expended to draw a permit-tag will be reinstated. Visit www.azgfd.com/hunting/pointguard, or call (602) 942-3000, for more information.
  • Portal account holders can log into their accounts to view draw results.
  • Forgot or can’t find that Department ID number when applying for a hunt? No worries. Just log into your portal account.

It’s easy to create a portal account by visiting accounts.azgfd.com/Account/Register and completing all fields (both the Social Security and Department ID fields must be completed). If your Social Security number also is your Department ID number, your Social Security number must appear in both fields.
