Free flight rally for kids this Saturday

KINGMAN – The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 765 will be hosting a Young Eagles Rally on Saturday morning, April 11. The event will begin at 9 a.m. for children ages eight through 17, at the Kingman Airport Terminal.

They will learn about how the pilot controls the airplane and after a short ground school, will go for an airplane ride around the area. When the flight is finished they  can receive a log book of their flight and a certificate. The child’s name will go on the national EAA roster that have more than two million names. Some have gone on to become pilots for large companies and the military.

All of this is free to the children of the area. This event is sponsored by Kingman Regional Medical Center Foundation, Foothills Bank and The Sutherland Law Firm. For additional information call David Amspoker at 928-
