FREDE LEE (LIZZARD) CASTLEBERRY

Frede Lee (Lizzard) Castleberry, passed to a better place September 25, 2020. Lee was born in Kingman, Ariz., July 11, 1962 to Frede and Dorothy Castleberry. Lee was raised in Yucca, Ariz., where he attended school, up to sixth grade. He then went to Kingman where he graduated with the Class of 1980.

Lee was in 4-H and FFA. When old enough, he worked at the Yucca Truck Stop for Don Ferrel, where he was a mechanic, drove the wrecker, whatever needed to be done. He also was a volunteer firefighter in Yucca.

After graduation, he worked for his uncle Pete Campbell, at the Kingman Redi Mix plant, then moved to Lake Havasu City, where he worked with Campbell Redi Mix company.

Lee loved the racing atmosphere. He was in several derby stock car races. He would go to any type of race he could; building and racing was his love. Lee liked to be the life of the party – get togethers – he also enjoyed helping out with Delbert Days Rodeo.

Lee is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother Dorothy Castleberry; sisters Susan Shaw, Sherry (Victor) Ybanez; five nieces; one nephew; seven great-nieces; three great-nephews; three great-great nieces; three great-great nephews; Uncle Dub and Aunt Dot Campbell; several cousins; and close friend Karen Bates.

The family expresses a sincere thank you to Havasu Regional Medical Center and Polidori House for their gentle and loving care of their son and brother.

A celebration of life will be celebrated at a later date.
