MOIHAVE COUNTY – At its annual meeting on January 9 in Lake Havasu City, the Mohave County GOP Central Committee elected new officers for the next two years. At the District 1 caucus, Becky Foster was elected to serve as Director for a two-year term. She succeeds former District 1 Director, Dinah Kundert. The district includes Kingman, Golden Valley, Truxton, Peach Springs, Hackberry, Wikieup, White Hills, Chloride, North Country, Meadview, Dolan Springs, and Golden Valley.
“I want to build on current successes and to provide education for our committeemen and the general public; recruit and assist Republican candidates up and down the ballot in getting elected; and, of course, register as many Republicans as we possibly can,” declared Foster. “Additionally, I plan to reach out to surrounding rural areas in order to include those who cannot easily travel to Kingman.”
“If you are a registered Republican and want to preserve our U.S. Constitution; believe in election integrity, the rule of law, first and second amendment rights, and detest censorship and election fraud, your local Republican Party is where you need to be to effect change; that is where the rubber meets the road,” said Foster.
District 1 was quite successful in 2020 and raised more money than the other two districts combined,” Foster said. “I commend former Director Kundert and Rozlynn Lange, Special Events Director, along with many hardworking volunteers, who produced one of the biggest and most successful Lincoln Day Dinners in District 1, and perhaps Mohave County history. Rozlynn is a great asset to the Republican Party.
“Going forward, I do not expect as big of a financial success as we had in 2020 during the Trump Campaign, as it is difficult in a non-general election year to generate the interest – especially when we won’t have President Trump who is wildly popular,” Foster said. “However, we will continue raising funds to promote good, solid Republican candidates as well as on-going training for our precinct committeemen and information for the public.”
“I look forward to working with and leading the many dedicated Republican volunteers in District 1 who give so freely of their time for the good of the party and our country,” said Foster.
There is a monthly meeting for precinct committeemen on the third Monday of each month. For information contact the local office. Anyone who is interested in getting involved as a precinct committeeman, running for public office or working for Republican candidates may contact the Kingman, District 1 GOP office at 2116 N. Stockton Hill Rd., Ste. B in Kingman and the phone number is 928-279-1411.
Turncoat. She was a Democrat as a supervisor. At least Becky’s run for supervisor got Travis out of the City.
