For Luv of Paws to host 10th annual Easter Egg Hunt

KINGMAN — For the Luv of Paws Domestic Animal Rescue and Sanctuary will be having its 10th annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, April 20, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The hunt will be at the Kingman Petco, next to Staples and across from Kingman Regional Medical Center.

This hunt is unique because dogs will be hunting for 25 eggs, which will be filled with various treats. The cost to enter is $5 per dog.

In 2005, Cherie DaLynn established For the Luv of Paws II, Inc. (FLP), a domestic animal rescue and sanctuary, after seeing the tremendous need to have a “no kill” sanctuary for domestic animals that had been neglected, abused and abandoned in Mohave County.

The rescue/sanctuary is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Kingman on ten acres of land in Golden Valley. The shelter is fully permitted and licensed by Mohave County and is recognized by the State of Arizona and the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.  A board of directors oversees the operation of the shelter.

The rescue/sanctuary houses on average 200 dogs and cats each month, some who have special needs.

For more information, contact Cherie DaLynn at (928)-897-7304.
