Foot pursuit nets ecstasy, meth, heroin

KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Kevin Lee Dennis, 46 of Kingman, for Marijuana Possession, Dangerous Drug Possession, Dangerous Drug Possession for Sale, Narcotic Drug Possession, Narcotic Drug Possession for Sale, Drug Paraphernalia Possession, all felonies, and two active arrest warrants.

On the evening of Friday, April 10, deputies responded to the 3100 block of Hearne Ave.

to attempt to locate Dennis, who was staying in a motorhome on a property of a burnt-down, abandoned property.

Dennis fled through a back alley and into a dirt field. He was apprehended Dennis in the 3100

block of Devlin Ave.

A search of his person revealed a baggie containing marijuana, a baggie containing methamphetamine, and a substantial amount of cash. Deputies searched the nearby property and located a container with baggies of ecstasy pills, methamphetamine, and heroin. The baggies containing methamphetamine were weighed and equaled 6.6 grams. The two baggies containing heroin were weighed and equaled 3 grams.
