Focus group meetings slated for LHC Regional Transit Feasibility plan

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu Metropolitan Planning Organization (LHMPO) is actively seeking public participation at Focus Group meetings on March 18, for the Regional Transit Feasibility and Implementation Plan.

The purpose of this focus group is to gather information, discuss the need for transit services, determine areas where transit service may be needed, and to listen to concerns. Findings from the focus group will help the study team evaluate the local demand for transit services and aid in identifying potential transit solutions.  The LHMPO Regional Transit Feasibility and Implementation Plan was initiated to assess the area’s need for transit service, evaluate service options and strategies, and create a plan for improvements to accommodate current and future transit needs.

Residents interested in participating are asked to register for one of the following focus groups on March 18.

1:30 – 3:00 p.m.

RSVP at: https://lhmpo_130.eventbrite.com

4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

RSVP at: https://lhmpo_430.eventbrite.com

The location for both meeting times is the Lake Havasu City Police Facility, 2360 McCulloch Boulevard N.
