Fishing for Smiles day open for registration

KINGMAN – Kingman Elks Lodge #468 and Mohave Sportman Club will host their annual Fishing for Smiles at Dunton Ranch on Saturday, May 18, from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This free event is open to area special needs individuals as well as area children; a parent must be present at the ranch during the event. Participants may bring their own rod and reel or used provided ones and lawn chairs; bait, refreshment and lunch will be provided at no charge. Trophies will be awarded for the biggest and heaviest fish caught.

This free event requires pre-registration by May 11. There will be a sign-up event at Smith’s grocery on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or call the Kingman Elks office at 928-753-3557.
