Final two County General Plan meetings Oct 21, 24

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County is looking for valuable input and comments from county residents on its 2025 General Plan Update. The final two community meetings will be held next week. There will be a meeting in Valle Vista on Monday, October 21st at 6pm at the Valle Vista Country Club, located at 9686 Concho Drive. The final gathering is set for the Bullhead City, Fort Mohave, and Mohave Valley area residents on Thursday, October 24th at 6pm at The Way Christian Church 4122 Highway 95 in Fort Mohave.

The county is seeking community input regarding the ongoing update to the Mohave County General Plan. These meetings will provide background on the General Plan and then allow for public comments and questions regarding changes they would like to see in the update.

Staff will start with a power point presentation, and then open it up for comments at the conclusion of the presentation. There will also be maps and comment cards at the meetings to provide input, and the public can always submit comments through the county website.

This gives residents the opportunity to participate in an important blueprint for the future. It will be hosted by the County’s Development Services Department. The workshops seek public comment focusing on attainable goals for future development throughout the county. Ideas and all matter of input can be valuable. Everyone is urged to attend.
