EPCOR battle begins

Bullhead City files condemnation docs with court

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City filed its eminent domain action in Mohave County Superior Court Friday afternoon. The City seeks Court-ordered condemnation in its bid to acquire the local assets of the EPCOR water company. Officials with the utility have promised to expend every resource available to fight what is expected to be a long and expensive legal battle. The first hearing in the case has been scheduled April 7 before Judge Lee Jantzen.
