Emergency rental assistance program available

MOHAVE COUNTY – Renters and landlords in Mohave County may apply for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program using the program portal. Renters and landlords can receive up to $3.500 per month in rent and utility assistance. Applications will be accepted through the program’s expiration on Dec. 31, or until funding is exhausted. Eligibility is based on the renter’s address and ability to meet the following criteria:

~ The renter’s household income is less than or equal to 80% of the area median income;

~ The renter or a member of the renter’s household is eligible for unemployment insurance benefits or has experienced a financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandamic; and

~ The renter is at risk of homelessness, housing instability or unsafe living conditions.

Renters and landlords can apply online at des.az.gov/ERAP.
