Elks to host annual toy giveaway

Dear Editor,

With the holidays upon us at a very fast pace, I want to wish you and your staff (Judeo and Christian) a Happy Chanukah and a very Merry Christmas. Traditions are important!

Elks Lodge 468 is continuing its tradition with free toys to local children and bringing Santa Claus to the lodge on Dec. 24. He usually arrives at 900 Gates Avenue in Kingman around 5:00 p.m. by helicopter and sometimes by fire truck! The doors open at 4:30 p.m. for children and families to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies while they wait for Santa. Children from infants to 12 years can pick out a toy after they speak to Santa.

The Kingsmen Rodeo Queens will assist Santa again this year at the Elks and everyone will have an opportunity to take photos of their children as well. Community is invited on December 24 for the Toy Give Away at the Elks at 900 Gate Ave, to make your holidays a little brighter. Elks Care, Elks Share!
