El Salvador man killed in motorcycle crash

KINGMAN – A weekend traffic fatality is under investigation by the Kingman Police Department. Deputy Police Chief Joel Freed said the motorcycle crash occurred at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5 in the area of Stockton Hill Road and Johnson Avenue.

“A motorcycle ridden by Alexis Bladmimir Guevara Coca, 21, El Salvador, was traveling southbound on North Stockton Hill Road approaching Johnson Avenue when he lost control of the motorcycle striking the curb,” Freed said. ?“Coca was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained major injuries.”

Freed said emergency personnel stabilized Coca, who died following life flight to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas. He said speed and recklessness are factors of focus in ongoing investigation.
