Early voting gegins October 7

Not registered yet? October 5 is deadline for November 3 election

MOHAVE COUNTY –The general election is on November 3. Registered voters will soon have the ability to act on their election choices as early voting kicks in on Wednesday, October 7 beginning at 10 a.m. Mail ballots are also mailed out beginning October 7. Please allow ten days before calling the recorder’s office in Kingman for a replacement ballot. It’s also important to return your ballot as soon as possible.

Early voting locations are at the libraries in Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City and at the Senior Center in Kingman. Following its October 7 opening date, the early voting will continue through Friday October 30. It will be available to the voters Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It’s important to remember that all locations will be closed on October 12 in observance of the Columbus Day holiday.

Mohave County Recorder Kristi Blair also points out, “Monday, October 5 is the deadline to register to vote for the General election. If you need to check the status of your voter registration, please go online at Arizona.Vote or Service.Arizona, rather than attempt to contact the recorder’s office, as the call volume is extremely high at this time.”
