Dylan Jakobsen recently released his full-length album I AM – a concept record fully written and produced by Jakobsen. The album walks you through a story 25 years in the making. From writing the songs, playing the instruments and producing it in his home studio, this album was so much more than Jakobsen could imagine.
“You know, I wanted this album to be special, to be more than just another release and be something I was proud of from beginning to end. And my only request is that you listen at least 1 time all the way through before you judge it. Feel my story, hear my journey, meet the real me,” Jakobsen said. Over the last few years Jakobsen has been able to accomplish things he never thought were possible as an independent artist. From being named “One of 10 New Country Artists to Watch” by The Boot and having a Top 50 Radio Single [Silverado] on the Country Breakout Chart, to touring the US, UK & Australia and supporting artists like Eli Young Band, Cody Johnson and Aaron Watson on select US dates, he has no plans on stopping any time soon.
“I don’t want to be just another one of many. I’m here to prove that this is where I’m supposed to be,” Jakobsen continued. Jakobsen will be the fourth concert that the Avi and KFLG have hosted since the series started in April.
