Driver killed in two-vehicle Hwy 68 crash

GOLDEN VALLEY – A two-vehicle fatal collision is under investigation by the Bullhead City police department. Officers responded at about 6 p.m. on November 26 to the head-on collision on Highway 68 in the vicinity of La Puerta Road.

“A male driver, Kevin Drain, 65, Bullhead City, was traveling westbound on Highway 68 in a 2006 Cadillac DTS,” said Emily Fromelt, public information officer for the police department. “For unknown reasons, the Cadillac crossed into the oncoming lanes and struck an eastbound 2017 Ram 1500 pickup truck.”

Fromelt said Drain was pronounced dead on scene. The 45-year-old man and his 21-year-old son from Bakersfield, California traveling in the pickup truck were released following treatment for their injuries at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.
