Dr. Regina Cobb suspends campaign for Arizona State Treasurer

KINGMAN – Dr. Regina Cobb announced today that she has formally suspended her campaign for Arizona State Treasurer in order to pursue a new, professional opportunity.

“When I announced my candidacy for State Treasurer, I was committed to taking my record as a fiscal conservative to the Treasurer’s office. But since my announcement, a new professional opportunity was presented to me that combined my passions of advancing healthcare policy and serving Arizonans. It is with mixed emotions – and excitement for my new opportunity – that I announce today the suspension of my campaign to be your next State Treasurer.”

While announcing her departure from the race, Dr. Cobb is proud to formally endorse Representative Jeff Weninger for Arizona State Treasurer, saying of Weninger, “I could not be happier to see Jeff enter the race for Treasurer. I am excited to support a fellow small business owner and fiscal Conservative, someone I’ve watched fight to grow Arizona’s economy, fund our first responders, and responsibly invest in our future – all through smart, innovative measures to balance our budget. As a friend and colleague, Jeff has my wholehearted endorsement for Arizona State Treasurer and I encourage my supporters to join Jeff’s campaign.”
