DONNA LAVERNE WATSON ANDERSON

Donna LaVerne Watson Anderson

Donna LaVerne Watson Anderson, 63, died unexpectedly at her home in Kingman, AZ, on Saturday, May 4.

Donna was born in Phoenix, Arizona on November 13, 1955, to George W. and Roberta A. Watson. She grew up in Gila Bend, and was a long time resident of Kingman. Donna earned her accounting degree in 2003, though she had been a bookkeeper for many years.  Donna was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and a good friend to many. She would help anyone who was in need. She cared for her sister during an extended illness and took care of her invalid mother for years, until her passing. She could do anything she set her mind to and do it exceptionally well, sewing, home remodeling, working on vehicles, building structures, hunting, fishing and was a great cook. Her favorite thing to do was be with family. Donna had a great sense of humor and saw the up side of life. She met the hardships in life head-on. She was the “go-to” person in her family. Donna was beloved by all who knew her, and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Christian Blanchard and her husband, Kevin, Brett Anderson and his wife, Karleen, Danae Sprouse and her husband, Ryan, siblings, Shari and Warren Watson, her grandchildren, Kashmeer Varney, Kendall Witte, Hayden Anderson, Andy Anderson, Kyla Anderson, Corrine Anderson, Tristan Anderson, Sarah Prosser, Amber Prosser, Harper Sprouse, and great-grandson, Brayson Hardy. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Andy E. Anderson. A memorial will be held at Hampton Inn, 1791 Sycamore Ave., Kingman, on May 11, at 11:00 a.m.
