Disc golf tourney will fund elementary school athletic program

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu Disc Golf Club is working hard on building their athletic program for the youths of Lake Havasu, and this weekend, the public charity for Havasu’s grade schools will be hosting another upcoming exciting tournament.  

The Battle at Bridgewater will have two rounds and ninety players will compete with eighteen holes and a shotgun start. Payouts for winners will be distributed at the end of the competition for both rounds. 

The Pro Divisions will be awarded for the top three players  as each winner will receive a trophy and the top three players for the Amateur Division will also receive trophies for their wins. The tournament will be free to spectators.  

The Battle at Bridgewater Disco Golf Tournament will be on Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bridgewater Links at London Bridge Resort.  Proceeds of this tournament will go into funding the disc golf sport for local Lake Havasu grade schools.
