Dick Samp Memorial Park undergoes pavement preservation June 1

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City continues to invest in community spaces with a pavement preservation project at Dick Samp Memorial Park. This seal coat treatment extends the life of the park’s parking lot and ensures safer, longer-lasting access for residents and visitors.

To complete the work safely, the park is temporarily closed starting Sunday, June 1, at 11 p.m. Weather permitting, crews will begin applying the protective coating at the Avalon Avenue entrance and continue through the lower parking lot. The park is scheduled to reopen the following morning, Monday, June 2, at 7 a.m.
