Cronn takes plea for crime spree

KINGMAN – A Fort Mohave woman’s alleged crime spree is being resolved short of trial. A plea agreement was entered February 6 in Kingman on behalf of Michelle Cronn, 37.

Evidence seized during an August, 2024 search led to a 22-count felony indictment charging Cronn with a mix of fraud, burglary, trafficking stolen property and credit card theft charges. All but four of those are dismissed in the plea that was entered and accepted before Judge Doug Camacho.

Cronn pleaded guilty to taking the identity of another, fraud and two burglary counts.

Deputy Mohave County attorney Leah Nelson said Cronn burgled homes and vehicles to secure driver’s licenses, credit cards and other personal identification information in pursuit of pecuniary gain. She said the defendant arranged for removal of appliances and other property from one home or more for her personal use.

Terms of the deal provide initial protection from prison, provided Cronn does not violate probation. Judge Camacho can order up to a year in jail during a March 5 sentencing hearing.
