MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Tuesday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of five COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County. Due to action this week by the Board of Supervisors, the age range reported is now much narrower.
Three of the cases are in the Kingman service area. An investigation is pending on two of them. One of those is in the 30-39 year age range and the other is 80-89. The third Kingman area case is in the 0-18 age range, in isolation, recovering at home, and linked to another confirmed case.
Of the other two positive cases, one is a person in the 0-18 age range, in the Bullhead City service area, who is in isolation, recovering at home, and linked to another confirmed case. The final case is a 40-49 year old individual in Lake Havasu City service area, in isolation, recovering at home, and linked to another confirmed case.
There are now 53 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including four deaths, 178 in Kingman, with a total of 22 deaths there, 8 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other”(composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,) and 21 in Bullhead City, including one death. There are a total of 27 deaths in the county from the disease. Total positive cases, 260.
